My sister (Janelle) and her friend (Sydney) got really bored yesterday at Senior Luau when they were passing out prizes. So they decided to make a fish fly. Attaching 4 balloons to the already light blowup fish, the upward pull of the balloons was greater than the force of gravity. Each balloon wanted to float upwards, and the five together made the fish fly. When it was in the air, the air conditioning pushed the balloons around their heads, acting as an outside force. The outside force pushed it around until Janelle caught it and pulled it back downwards.

My dad came back from his "business trip" with a group of his friends two weeks ago. This is a clip from their second day, trying to outdo each other... I couldn't really open up my camera to show the capacitor, so I'm just going back to projectiles, potential and kinetic energies, and gravity. When he approaches the ramp, most, if not all, of his energy is now kinetic. After he hits the jump, gravity is the only force acting upon him (a=9.80 m/s). At the top of the jump, the vertical velocity is zero and he begins to drop. When he hits the ground, he still has momentum and energy, and thus bounces off. (It left a huge bruise on his leg...they took a picture.)

I keep my scissors in my pencil case (there isnt much room in it anyway). The pens and pencils rub against the metal part of the scissors and creates friction. The friction transfers electrons from the surfaces of the pencils onto the metal blades. The metal scissors now has a negative charge. When I put it next to the neutral pin, it polarizes the pin creating an attractive force betweent them. (I think)
